About Us
Jenny Nelson
I’ve been lucky enough to work in programming teams at a variety of radio networks including Classic FM, Absolute Radio, BBC 6 Music, Scala Radio, Xfm (now Radio X), BBC Radio Cornwall, BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Fun Radio (now Fun Kids), CBeebies Radio, Heart and LBC.
I’ve created content for Deezer and worked at production companies Somethin’ Else and TBI Media. At TBI, I produced music and arts documentaries for BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 2 including ‘The John Bonham Story’ which won Gold Best Music Special at the Sony Awards and New York Radio Festival Awards in 2012.
I have a passion for screen music and have produced various radio programmes dedicated to films, TV and video game soundtracks. At Classic FM, I wrote a book exploring collaborations between film directors and composers, published in 2018.
I am currently co-writing a book about movie music with the film critic and broadcaster Mark Kermode, due for publication in Autumn 2025.

Mark Jeeves
I’ve worked across many commercial radio networks, starting as a presenter before finding my first calling, producing and presenting breakfast shows across UK local and regional stations.
When DAB radio launched in 1999, I joined Planet Rock, later taking over programme management and achieving Sony Award success – both for the team for Station of the Year, and myself, for Station Imaging.
I moved to Adventure Radio as group Managing Director in 2009, running local licences across the midlands and south of England.
Moving to Bauer in 2019, I helped launch Scala Radio with Jenny whilst continuing projects with Planet Rock, before turning my focus to launching new podcasts with the likes of The Fast Show co-creator Charlie Higson, The Hairy Bikers and rock legend Rick Wakeman.
My main musical expertise lies in rock music. In my work as producer and presenter at Planet Rock I’ve interviewed legends of the genre such as Ozzy Osborne, Robert Plant and Jon Bon Jovi.
I’m also an award-winning producer of station branding and imaging, creating the audio identity for Planet Rock, Scala Radio and more, as well as sound design work for radio series’ such as the Aria award-winning ‘Music of James Bond’ with David Arnold and bespoke audio projects including working with Virgin Atlantic to create hearing loss simulations to aid cabin-crew training.
I understand how the right audio with the right creative execution can position a brand better than any other medium.
